Hands-on, spine-chilling science and imaginative craft projects that will ignite creativity of all ages

Oct 25, 2025 - Oct 26, 2025. 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Join us for a Spooky Science Festival, where you can dive into a day filled with hands-on, spine-chilling science and imaginative craft projects that will ignite your creativity! From eerie jewelry making to ghostly circuit-drawing, there’s something for everyone in our thrilling lineup. The festival will take place on [insert date] from 12 PM to 6 PM at The Craft Lab, located at Because Science, 1759 Columbia Rd NW, Washington DC 20009, in the Adams Morgan neighborhood. The venue is accessible via the red line (Woodley Park) and Green Line (Columbia Heights), several bus routes, and there is a parking garage at 2421 18th St NW for those driving.

Our event features a drop-in style, so you can swing by anytime! Each project takes about 10 to 30 minutes, making it perfect for a quick creative fix. Feel free to come back throughout the day to try different activities, and no registration is needed. Enjoy special offers, such as spinning the prize wheel for fun surprises with any store purchase, a 20% discount on Craft Lab registrations for scheduled events in October and November, and double rewards for Quantum Tenure Rewards Members on purchases. Everyone is welcome to participate, and we offer simplified versions of some activities for younger children. We can’t wait to celebrate the magic of spooky science with you!
