Trae Crowder

Trae Crowder, the Tennessee comedian known as the “Liberal Redneck,” turns the contradictions of Southern life into sharp, story-driven stand-up. His comedy blends progressive political satire with an affectionate eye for the people and culture he grew up around, finding humor in the gap between small-town roots and modern debates. Crowder’s viral porch-rant videos helped introduce his voice to a wider audience, and he later co-wrote The Liberal Redneck Manifesto: Draggin’ Dixie Outta the Dark with fellow comedians Drew Morgan and Corey Ryan Forrester. His set pairs pointed observations with a conversational Southern delivery, making big cultural questions feel close to home—and ripe for a laugh.
