Virginia National Ballet - Cinderella

Virginia National Ballet’s Cinderella brings the familiar fairy tale to life in an original production choreographed by founding artistic director Rafik Hegab. First presented in 2020, the ballet pairs Sergei Prokofiev’s expressive score with vivid sets, costumes and choreography, following Cinderella’s journey from hardship to a life transformed by a little magic. The company’s professional dancers give the story movement and character, from the warmth of its romance to its playful turns of fate. With memorable music and visual storytelling, this is a welcoming way to experience a beloved tale through dance.
