Celebrating 28 years as Washington’s famed power dining location, The Bombay Club has been revered by presidents and the political elite. It features a beautiful updated décor reminiscent of the old clubs in India. Esteemed guests who have frequented the restaurant included Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton, George H. W. Bush, and Nelson Mandela. From the silver screen, notable stars such as Harrison Ford, Bruce Willis, Demi Moore, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have also been fans of the authentic Indian fare with Executive Chef Nelish Singhvi helming the kitchen.
The Bombay Club was named #10 with three stars (out of four) in Washingtonian magazine’s list of the “100 Very Best Restaurants” in January 2014. The restaurant was also awarded one of the “Top 10 Power Dining Spots in DC,” by FoodNetwork.com in August 2014 and one of the “7 Best Indian Restaurants Across The Globe” by GQ magazine in August 2014 and is a consistent contender on Eater’s Essential 38.
