Dubliner Pub

Established in 1974 by Daniel J. Coleman, The Dubliner is a family-owned Washington, DC landmark bringing authentic Irish hospitality to Capitol Hill. Located across from Union Station and attached to the historic Phoenix Park Hotel, its proximity to the U.S. Capitol makes it a prime gathering spot for politicians, staffers, commuters and tourists alike.

The pub maintains a vibrant atmosphere seven nights a week with live traditional Irish music. Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night fare, mornings begin with a Traditional Full Irish Breakfast—complete with bangers, rashers, black and white pudding, eggs, baked beans and house-made soda bread. Midday and evening menus center on hearty Irish comfort food, including house-cured corned beef sandwiches, beer-battered fish and chips, Shepherd’s Pie, slow-simmered beef stew and pan-seared Atlantic salmon.

The Dubliner is recognized as one of the largest purveyors of Guinness Stout in the United States, pouring every Imperial Pint according to strict traditional standards. For those looking beyond a classic stout, the bar also serves its own exclusive house draft, Auld Dubliner Amber Ale, and maintains a curated collection of over 100 Irish whiskeys.
