The Capital Pride Alliance serves DC’s LGBTQ+ community through entertainment, community outreach and diversity celebrations. Each year, the nonprofit organization curates Capital Pride, which features a popular collection of events from June 6-21. We've detailed a selection of standouts below. Pride Parade - June 20
Celebrate with the LGBTQ+ community and its allies at the historic Capital Pride Parade! The beloved tradition honors LGBTQ+ history and acknowledges the evolution of the LGBTQ+ neighborhoods in Washington, DC, while respecting the origins and importance of taking to the streets in the fight for equality. Be prepared to experience one of the largest Pride Parades to ever take place in the nation’s capital. Entry is free and open to the public.

Pride Festival & Concert - June 21
America's Mainstreet, the historic Pennsylvania Avenue, becomes Capital Pride Central during this epic festival that lets DC's LGBTQ+ community truly shine. Then, turn things up as concert headliners Maren Morris, Leikeli47, Lisa Lisa, Harrison and Myki Meeks take to the stage in front of the U.S. Capitol. Enjoy entertainment across three stages, food, beverages and a chance to meet with more than 300 exhibitors, including local and national advocacy groups. Entry is free and open to the public, with additional ticketed VIP and PIT experiences.

The Audacity Brunch: In Full Fuchsia (Capital Pride Honors) - June 7
The Capital Pride Alliance invites you to step boldly into Pride season at The Audacity Brunch: In Full Fuchsia, located at the Four Season Hotel, Washington, DC, for a luxurious brunch celebration honoring the 2026 Capital Pride Honors recipients and benefiting the Pride365 Fund.
Rooted in this year’s theme, Exist. Resist. Have the Audacity!, the event celebrates and honors the changemakers across the National Capital Region whose dedication and service continue to shape the future of the LGBTQ+ community and create meaningful change. The event is for ages 21 and over.

RIOT! The Official Capital Pride Opening Party - June 19
Kick off your Pride weekend at DC’s largest Pride party – it's truly a riot. Dance the night away at Echostage with performances from local, national and world-famous queer artists including a special DJ set from BOB The Drag Queen and headliner Myki Meeks, winner of Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 18. The event is for ages 18 and over.

Crack of Noon Parade Brunch - June 20
Kick off Parade Day with an indulgent all-you-can-eat gourmet brunch buffet and sparkling mimosas at the Viceroy Hotel. Mingle with the 2026 Capital Pride Court, Parade Grand Marshals and Honorees in a room filled with Pride energy as we celebrate community and toast to the excitement of the day ahead! The event is for ages 21 and over.

17th Street Pride Block Party: Presented by Absolut - June 20
Expect entertainment, plenty of food and beverages (including local vendors, food trucks and restaurants along 17th Street) and good vibes all around ahead of the parade later in the day. There’s also a beverage garden for those ages 21 and over to refresh and watch performers on the Block Party Stage. This event is in collaboration with the Historical Dupont Circle Mainstreets. Entry is free and open to the public.
