Compensation: Interns earn $17.00 per hour, with no cost incurred by employers.
Work Hours: Interns may work up to 25 hours per week, based on a mutually agreed schedule.
Registration closes on Feb. 14, 2025.
What is the Career Ready Internship Program?

The students are high school juniors and seniors studying Hospitality and Tourism, Culinary Arts, Mass Media and Communications and Information Technology (IT).

Students are engaged 20-25 hours per week for 6 weeks. We welcome in-person, hybrid and remote internship opportunities.

As a fully paid opportunity by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, hosting an intern is at no cost to the employer.
What can a Career Ready Intern do?

Work the front desk of a hotel or cycled through departments

Shadow managers to understand a holistic view of a company

Create social media and branding campaigns
-
Research business development opportunities and contacts
-
Plan an event for internal or external clients
-
Anything else you can think of! Remember they are still in high school, but they have talents that might surprise you!
