For Mental Health Awareness Month programs, we invite our neighbors to participate in the following experiences that foster community and creativity:
- May 29 Mental Health Month Walk-and-Talk with Cottage Staff through the campus of the Armed Forces Retirement Home Campus, grounds Lincoln himself loved.
- Tickets are free, but reservation is required on our website.
- Bagels and Coffee from Call Your Mother will be served!
- May 1-31 Book drive for DC Books to Prisons in the Museum Shop to extend connection to our most isolated citizens
- Daily Crafting Connection activity in the Robert H. Smith Visitor Education Center that encourages a meditation on the value and worth of every human being.
