George Clanton

George Clanton turns hazy electronic nostalgia into vivid, vocal-led pop, drawing on synth-pop, trip-hop and vaporwave without staying in one lane for long. A key figure in underground internet music, he helped bring vaporwave into new territory through releases including 100% Electronica and Slide, whose shifting textures frame the standout “Make It Forever.” His later album Ooh Rap I Ya pairs reflective songwriting with buoyant electronic production on tracks such as “I Been Young” and “Justify Your Life.” The result is music where dreamlike, retro-futurist soundscapes meet memorable pop hooks.
