Ghostwoman

GHOSTWOMAN is the guitar-driven project of Canadian musician Evan Uschenko, joined by Belgian drummer Ille Van Dessel. Their sound threads raw garage rock and psychedelic Americana through shadowy, tape-worn textures, shifting from the restless pulse of “Do You” to the expansive mood of Anne, If. On Welcome to the Civilized World, songs including “Alive” and “that Jesus” stretch their fuzzy riffs into hypnotic, searching territory.
