History You Can Hear

Music is one of the best ways to step into the past and understand what life was like for people long ago.

Jul 18, 2026. 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of America’s independence, join us for a hands-on program exploring early American music and the instruments that brought it to life. Early American music specialist David Hildebrand will share a variety of colonial-era instruments, explain their stories, perform live, and invite participants to try a few for themselves.

All registered participants must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration for this program will open June 26 at 12 p.m.
