Independence Day Parade

Celebrate freedom, fireworks, and fun this Independence Day

Jul 04, 2026. 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Celebrate freedom, fireworks, and fun this Independence Day — and this year, we mark a once-in-a-generation milestone: the 250th anniversary of the United States. This year’s theme and logo, VA 250, were selected by the Independence Day Celebration Committee (IDCC).

Independence Day Parade
Virginia’s largest Independence Day parade features a patriotic flyover, a special 250th anniversary helium balloon, floats, marching units, and community groups winding through downtown.
