Jan 17, 2027. Starting: 7:30 PM
Jarrod Lawson is a singer, pianist and songwriter whose richly arranged soul draws on the warmth of classic R&B, jazz and gospel. Raised on the music of Stevie Wonder and Donny Hathaway, he brings expressive vocals and a pianist’s rhythmic touch to original songs including “All That Surrounds” and “Be the Change.” His 2014 self-titled debut earned him Jazz FM’s Soul Artist of the Year award, and his later albums include Be the Change and Just Let It. Lawson’s writing pairs intricate harmonies with direct, heartfelt lyrics, giving his soul sound both musical depth and an inviting intimacy.
