Jenny Tian

Jenny Tian turns the observations that made her a social-media favorite into sharp, personal stand-up. The Australian comedian’s work draws on identity, dating and the absurdities of internet fame, with a perspective shaped by her Chinese Australian background. Her debut solo show, Picture This, became a YouTube special, and her later hour Chinese Australian brought her to the Edinburgh Fringe; she also appeared on the second season of Taskmaster Australia. Onstage, Tian’s anecdotal storytelling and playful comedic drawings give her stories a distinctive visual touch, balancing online-era wit with the pleasure of hearing a comic find the funny in everyday life.
