Josh Johnson

Josh Johnson brings a thoughtful, finely observed style of stand-up shaped by his work as a writer and correspondent on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show. His comedy moves from family and faith to loneliness, relationships and the odd turns of everyday life, balancing sharp perspective with the patience of a gifted storyteller. The Emmy-nominated comedian’s specials include # (Hashtag), Up Here Killing Myself and Symphony, his first HBO stand-up special. Onstage, Johnson makes big, familiar questions feel personal—and finds humor in the details audiences recognize in their own lives.
