The Montgomery Art Association (MAA) is a nonprofit supporting the visual arts and artists in Montgomery County and the D.C. metro area.

Formed in 1954, and incorporated as a non-profit in 1991, MAA is one of the longest-running arts communities in the greater DC area. With over 600 members the organization’s artists exhibit each year in a variety of locations MAA strives to make a vital contribution to our community. In partnership with the Montgomery College Art Foundation, they provide scholarships to emerging artists and proudly support the Wheaton Arts Parade and Maryland’s Day of the Arts.
