Tall Heights

Tall Heights is the indie-folk duo of childhood friends Tim Harrington and Paul Wright, whose interwoven vocals, acoustic guitar and expressive cello grew from their early days busking in Boston. Their sound moves between spare, intimate songwriting and atmospheric, more expansive arrangements, heard on albums including Neptune, Pretty Colors for Your Actions and Softly Softly. “Spirit Cold” helped introduce the duo to a wider audience, while later songs such as “The Deep End” showcase their layered folk-pop approach. The appeal lies in the contrast at the heart of the music: two distinct voices and instruments creating a sound that feels both close-up and richly textured.
