Thievery Corporation
Dec 19, 2026. Starting: 8:00 PM
Washington, D.C. duo Thievery Corporation have spent three decades blending downtempo electronic music with dub, bossa nova, jazz and sounds drawn from around the world. Rob Garza and Eric Hilton formed the project in 1995, building a distinctive, vocal-rich sound that moves easily between languid grooves and dance-floor rhythms. Their catalog spans the debut Sounds From The Thievery Hi-Fi, the acclaimed The Mirror Conspiracy and the enduring “Lebanese Blonde,” later featured in the film Garden State. The appeal lies in those unexpected musical crossings: Brazilian sway, deep bass and global influences sharing the same groove.
