Watercolor Painting Workshop at the Arts Club of Washington

Vian Borchert is an internationally acclaimed artist, a Corcoran GW graduate, and an art educator with over a decade of teaching experience. Vian has exhibited her artwork within the USA and internationally in over 100 exhibitions in both group and solo shows worldwide. She exhibits in museums, and key galleries in major cities, and her work is sought after by art collectors and is in private collections worldwide.
In this 6-session Watercolor painting course, designed by Vian for all levels, students will explore traditional watercolor and experimental watercolor techniques. Color theory and composition are emphasized through images based on varying subject matters such as landscape and still-life and studies of master artists’ artwork. Students are welcome to work from the images the instructor provides or to bring their own images and will be guided in creating a pleasing work of art.
Tuesdays, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, on the following dates:
September 22; September 29; October 6; October 13; October 20; and November 3. (No class on October 27.)
Participants will need to walk up several flights of stairs to the art studio, where this course is held.
Prices vary; Payment covers all six sessions; No makeups, refunds or credits for missed sessions.
