The restaurant is designed to feel like guests have stepped into a home for a dinner party or weekend brunch at a friend’s house or a work social. The walls showcase a mix of watercolors of some of our favorite ingredients alongside artwork from the owner’s late father. The shelves are filled with a collection of cookbooks, meant to educate and inspire. Our large patio has bistro lights and sits with the perfect view of Eastern Market. You will feel a part of neighborhood when dining with us.
We’re not afraid to combine unexpected flavors, but we’re also passionate about letting the clean and simple ingredients speak for themselves. We are committed to serving food made with natural and organic products, always celebrating seasonal ingredients from our local farms and farmers. Our meats and dairy are consciously free of hormones and antibiotics. We prioritize using sheep, goat and other alternative dairy products to keep people happy and healthy. We support and source from other small businesses, especially women-owned and operated, just like us.
