National Symphony Orchestra Presents: Opera in Concert: Noseda conducts Barber’s Vanessa

Immerse yourself in the passion of Samuel Barber’s tour de force in the hands of NSO Music Director and renowned opera conductor Gianandrea Noseda. Presented as part of the NSO’s annual Opera in Concert series, Vanessa is a tale of self-discovery, longing, and the raw pursuit of love. Nicole Heaston, J’Nai Bridges, Matthew Polenzani, Susan Graham, and Thomas Hampson join the orchestra as special guests. Sondra Radvanovsky has withdrawn from the National Symphony Orchestra’s performances of Vanessa on January 30 & February 1 due to personal reasons. We are delighted to announce that Nicole Heaston will join the NSO to sing the role of Vanessa for these concerts.
