Soak Up the Last of Summer at Camp Cobb Park
We’re thrilled to invite you to celebrate the last days of summer with a weekend of free events at Cobb Park! Soak up the last of the season and create the special memories that only summer vacation can provide at Camp Cobb Park — a three day extravaganza in Mount Vernon Triangle! Check out the lineup below and be sure to register for any and all of the events you plan to attend.
- Thursday, August 27, 6:30 -8:30pm: The Roller Rink at Cobb Park
Join us Thursday night as Cobb Park transforms into a classic roller rink complete with DJ, disco ball, glow sticks, and arcade games — all free to enjoy! - Friday, August 28, 7:30-10pm: Movie Night
Enjoy a free screening of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (PG) under the stars complete with a popcorn giveaway! Get there early, the first 100 registered attendees will receive a complimentary picnic blanket to bring home with them (one per family). - Saturday, August 29, 2-5pm: Cobb Park Carnival
We will close out Camp Cobb Park with one more day of fun! This free afternoon event will feature a bounce house and carnival games, along with face painting, music and more!
We will also have a donation box at each of the events to collect school supplies that we will deliver to So Others Might Eat (SOME), so be sure to bring some with you to drop in the bin!
