Hear NASA and international astronauts discuss their experiences on the International Space Station.
“Living and working in that orbiting laboratory was just a dream come true,” astronaut Zena Cardman told viewers as she recounted her recent trip five-month trip to the International Space Station (ISS).
Over the last 25 years, the ISS has been home to more than 280 astronauts from 26 different countries. In fact, humans have been in space every day since November 2000. Orbiting about 250 miles above Earth, crews on the ISS have conducted over 4,000 groundbreaking scientific experiments, completed over 270 spacewalks, and engaged in international cooperation. Those of us back on Earth have connected with the astronauts on board the ISS through downlinks, social media posts, and stunning photos of Earth from hundreds of miles up. The crews of the International Space Station have made a home in space, creating a sustainable habitat for humans and proving we can live and work off our planet.
Join current NASA and international astronauts as they discuss stories from their time on the International Space Station.
