Lucky Daye

Lucky Daye brings a supple, expressive voice to R&B that moves easily between classic soul and funk and modern production. The New Orleans singer-songwriter first drew wide attention with his debut album, Painted, earning four Grammy nominations; his EP Table for Two later won the Grammy for Best Progressive R&B Album. Across Candydrip and Algorithm, tracks such as “Over” and “That’s You” showcase his gift for pairing intimate vocals with unexpected grooves. His performances give those shifts room to land, balancing finely shaped melodies with the warmth and rhythmic lift at the heart of his songs.
