Meditation in the Galleries

Seating will be provided, so please mark on your reservation if you prefer a chair or a mat. Water bottles and yoga mats are not permitted inside the Museum.

Meditation will take place in our indoor Terrace Gallery featuring works by Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, and more. 

Jeneen Piccuirro is a professional artist, teacher, belly dancer, and certified yoga teacher who has apprenticed with master sound healers from across the world. The recipient of an undergraduate degree in art and an MFA in painting, she specializes in innovative, creative approaches to integrating dance, sound, healing, art, and meditation. Jeneen has taught at American University, Georgetown University, Swarthmore College, Dartmouth College, Chautauqua Institute, Washington Studio School, and The Kreeger Museum, to name a few. She currently leads immersive art, yoga, meditation, dance, and sound healing workshops and retreats in the DMV and abroad.

Limited parking is available on site. Only handicapped parking is permitted in the circular forecourt of the Museum.

Please arrive promptly at 10:00am. The front doors will open right at 10:00am for check-in.

Please note, participants must stay seated for the entirety of the program. 

Please email education@kreegermuseum.org as soon as possible if you plan to cancel so we can give your spot to someone else. No refunds will be issued within the 24 hours before the program.
