One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure



Follow Big Bird and Elmo on a journey of the night sky

Nov 29, 2026. From: 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM

In this free planetarium show, join Big Bird and Elmo as they explore the night sky with Hu Hu Zhu, a Muppet from "Zhima Jie," the Chinese co-production of Sesame Street. Together, they take an imaginary trip from Sesame Street to the moon, where they discover how different it is from Earth. They also journey to Zhima Jie to learn about the similarities in our view of the sky.


One World, One Sky is shown on Thursdays and Sundays at 10:30 am. 


This program runs 25 minutes and is appropriate for families with young children. 


One World , One Sky and Museum admission are free. Timed-entry passes are required and may be reserved online at https://airandspace.si.edu.
