Join us on Saturday, March 21 for Stories in the Street: President Lincoln in Petworth, a 90-minute guided walk led by Andrea Seiger, author of 22 Walks in Washington, DC You Can’t Miss, alongside a guide from President Lincoln’s Cottage.
We will meet at President Lincoln’s Cottage. From there, we will explore Lincoln’s former neighborhood and the evolution of Petworth. We’ll visit local landmarks and small businesses and consider the stories that continue to shape the community today. Along the way, keep an eye out for a few special surprises from local partners who appreciate Lincoln’s legacy as much as we do!
The walk concludes at President Lincoln’s Cottage with a reception and book signing.
