Through the African American Lens: Sing Sing

A screening of Sing Sing, directed by Greg Kwedar

Jul 17, 2024. From: 07:00 PM to 08:00 PM

Join us for a screening of Sing Sing, directed by Greg Kwedar. The film follows the story of Divine G (Colman Domingo), imprisoned at Sing Sing for a crime he didn’t commit, who finds purpose by acting in a theatre group with other incarcerated men. When a wary outsider joins the group, the men decide to stage their first original comedy, in this stirring true story of resilience, humanity, and the transformative power of art, starring an unforgettable ensemble cast of formerly incarcerated actors.

There will be a post-screening Q & A with the filmmakers and cast.
