U.S. Navy Concert Band Performs at National Museum of the Marine Corps
Join us on July 24 at 7 p.m., as the United States Navy Concert Band performs at the National Museum of the Marine Corps!
The United States Navy Concert Band, the premier wind ensemble of the U.S. Navy, presents a wide array of marches, patriotic selections, orchestral transcriptions and modern wind ensemble repertoire. As the original ensemble of the Navy Band, the Concert Band has been performing public concerts and participating in high-profile events for more than 95 years.
The free Summer Concerts are held outdoors on the National Museum of the Marine Corps' entry plaza, weather permitting. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets. Please enjoy extended hours before the concert begins. The Museum, Rifle Range, Tun Tavern and Museum Store will be open until 6:45 p.m.. Enjoy our trigger happy hour in the Laser Simulated Rifle Range for $2.50. Outdoor concessions will be available. *No alcoholic beverages will be permitted on the Museum grounds.
