All The World's A Stage

Adam Gwon’s All the World’s a Stage is a new musical about the bonds that can form when art gives people room to be themselves. Set in 1996, it follows a closeted high school math teacher who mentors a student preparing for a theater competition; as they explore Tony Kushner’s Angels in America, their connection unsettles the small-town community around them. With an expressive score and a story that honors the teachers who help young people feel seen, the musical brings personal courage and the power of theater into sharp, moving focus.
