A poetry performance reimagined as a shared remembrance, Love Letter from the Afterlife brings Andrea Gibson’s filmed poetry to the stage alongside live music and stories from fellow poet Megan Falley, Gibson’s wife and creative partner. Gibson, Colorado’s poet laureate from 2023 to 2025 and the first Women of the World Poetry Slam champion, wrote candidly about love, identity, politics and mortality in collections including You Better Be Lightning. Falley’s intimate reflections add humor and personal perspective, making the evening a layered encounter with Gibson’s words and the partnership that shaped them.
