In Dupont Circle Park on Sept. 6th, we will be celebrating Oktoberfest with free live music from our favorite German Band!
It may be a little early for a DC autumn, but we are celebrating the harvest season starting September 6th from 1:00-5:00 p.m. in Dupont Circle for Octoberfest! Our favorite German band Lost Lederhosen is coming Dupont Circle Park to perform energetic Octoberfest music that audiences love to listen to.
They are a high energy, authentic German party band, perfect for a Dupont Circle Oktoberfest! Lost Lederhosen performs selections you would expect to hear at an Oktoberfest in Munich! Come see the band as the audience forms Conga lines, sings “Ein Prosit” on stage with the band, and helps lead choreography to fan favorites such as Fliegerlied. Let's build Gemutlichkeit, which means warmth, friendliness, and good cheer!
Be sure to visit neighborhood beer gardens on 20th Street (intersection of 20th and Q Streets) and 19th Street (across the street from the Dupont Circle Hotel) where you can enjoy a stein in the streatery. Look for food and drink specials from the restaurants and taverns in greater Dupont Circle to enjoy throughout the day.
Whether you're German or just want to stomp your feet in the Circle, come by to another year of Dupont Circle Oktoberfest!
