Celebrate America 250 with free live country music on the Fourth of July on multiple outdoor stages! Don't miss out on the music, games, specialty drinks, and spectacular views of the National Park Service fireworks launched from the National Mall.

VIP Experience in the Dockmaster Building


Join us for a VIP fireworks viewing experience at The Wharf and Celebrate 250 Years of America! The evening includes:



  • Exclusive access to the Dockmaster Building at the tip of District Pier.

  • Live music from Chris Ryan from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.

  • Two drink tickets (plus cash bar) featuring an All American lineup from Samuel Adams, Jack Daniel's and Tito's Handmade Vodka.

  • All American light fare including gourmet sliders, mini hot dogs, sides and desserts.

  • Fantastic views of the National Park Service fireworkslaunched from the National Mall.

  • VIP only restrooms & backstage access to the District Pier main stage.

More Information:



  • The Wharf historically has great views of the fireworks, but please know that we are not in charge of this display so we can’t guarantee the quantity or timing. NPS has stated a 9:09 pm start time.

  • Great viewing locations include District Pier, Recreation Pier, Transit Pier, and many restaurants and bars at The Wharf.

  • No outside alcohol or home packed food is permitted. Guests may bring in food from any Wharf restaurant.

  • All ages are welcome at the event. Must be 21+ with a valid ID to consume alcohol.

  • On busy days it is likely The Wharf parking garages will get full. Visit the Getting Here page for all the ways to get to The Wharf including the Water Taxi, our Free Wharf Shuttle and more. GETTING HERE

  • We recommend leaving pets at home, the fireworks can be overwhelming for them.

  • Guests are permitted to bring cameras and video equipment to The Wharf, provided that they are for personal use only. Cameras with a lens longer than six (6) inches may not be brought to events at The Wharf, except by credentialed media. While taking photographs, guests are not permitted to stand in the aisles, portals, or walkways, or to obstruct others from viewing the event. Monopods, tripods, and selfie sticks are not permitted at The Wharf. If you’re interested in a photo pass, please contact info@wharfdc.com.
