Gary Gulman: Grandiloquent
Over 30 years in comedy, Gary Gulman has established himself as an eminent performer and peerless writer. “Grandiloquent” is his hilarious new show about insecurity, empathy, and self-acceptance, exploring how a thoughtful boy learned to use humor, reading, and writing to cope with the consequences of his parents’ blunders.
A product of Boston, Gulman has been a scholarship college football player, an accountant, and a high school teacher. He has five TV specials including the acclaimed “Born On 3rd Base” and “The Great Depresh,” a tour–de–force look at mental illness.
Most recently, Gulman made his off-Broadway debut with his critically acclaimed, sold-out one–man show “Grandiloquent,” directed by Tony Award winner Moritz von Stuelpnagel and produced by Mike & Carlee Productions (“Oh Mary”).
Gulman’s TV and movie appearances include Joker and the hit Hulu comedy series, “Life & Beth.” He is the author of the memoir Misfit: Growing Up Awkward in the ’80s.
