Lincoln University Lions at Bowie State Bulldogs Football

A Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association matchup brings together the Lincoln Lions and Bowie State Bulldogs, two Division II programs with deep ties to the conference. Lincoln’s football roots reach back to 1894, and the university was among the CIAA’s founding members; Bowie State has claimed conference titles in 2018, 2019 and 2021. The teams have met regularly since Lincoln returned to the CIAA in 2008, making this a familiar conference contest with a clear competitive edge: Bowie State has won all 17 recorded meetings through 2025. That history gives every drive, tackle and scoring chance extra weight.
