Sejoe

Sejoe is a Haitian-American stand-up comedian whose work brings Haitian culture, language and diaspora life to the stage. Performing in Haitian Creole, he weaves personal storytelling with observations on politics, religion, identity and the contrasts between life in Haiti and the United States. His special Nou Chaje ak Pwoblèm was the first Haitian stand-up special, and Ayisyen Pale, Ayisyen Konprann continues his exploration of comedy as cultural storytelling. Sejoe’s humor offers audiences both a lively stand-up set and a window into experiences often missing from mainstream comedy.
