Coming off his Grammy-nominated 2025 album Second Line Sunday, Trombone Shorty returns with his band Orleans Avenue to bring high-octane New Orleans funk to the Filene Center. A national treasure and multigenerational talent, the iconic Mavis Staples lays it down with The Staple Singers’ classics “I’ll Take You There” and “Respect Yourself,” plus other highlights from her vast career, including her latest solo album Sad and Beautiful World (2025). Rounding out the lineup is powerhouse country soul duo The War And Treaty with “That’s How Love is Made,” “Five More Minutes,” and more.
