An Italian (ish) restaurant, inspired by small osterias in Italy. La Collina means “The Hill” in Italian. A neighborhood spot for friends and families to meet and share meals together. We say “ISH” because the owner is not Italian and we take liberty at times to incorporate ingredients that might not be Italian, but that we know will be delicious.
The atmosphere is vibrant and alive, fun and loud. Tomato cans, decorations from Italy and a bright antipasti bar greet guests at the door to entice their taste buds. There is an abundance of
life expressed through the collision of people, smells, and tastes plus there are pieces of an orange Fiat car hanging around you.
Our menu includes house-made pasta, a large variety of antipasti combining Italian classics, the best steak florentine in DC, and a kid’s menu that includes some fruit and vegetables so kids are always seeing and trying things. This is a curated dining experience featuring a select menu of familiar dishes with simple ingredients. Our space is ideal for groups of families (with children!) and friends.
