DDC was a proud sponsor of this year’s conference, the premier in-person event for meetings and event professionals in the financial services and insurance sectors. At the Washington Hilton, we had the opportunity to showcase the city to this prestigious audience, as well as during the opening event at the Spy Museum. FICP also held a reception at the National Cathedral, and worked with our local DMC partners for their various events including Cohera and Hello! Destination Management. Crew Roadshow and Sales Mission (Nov. 10-14, San Francisco, CA & Seattle, WA)

The CVB Representatives of the West hosted Destinations Celebration with a Seattle and a San Francisco reception. In Seattle, DDC staff had over 20 one-on-one appointments with about 40 clients in attendance, where they discussed upcoming meeting opportunities and ways DDC could support their events. In San Francisco, the reception brought together more than 80 clients, giving DDC staff the chance to connect with a broader audience and share what makes DC a top destination. Both cities also provided the chance to network with other CVBs and DMOs, exchange ideas and explore potential collaborations.

Professional Convention Management Association Bowl-a-thon and Sales Mission (Nov. 12-13, Chicago, IL)

DDC’s Chicago office participated in the Greater Midwest Chapter of PCMA’s 2025 Bowl Bash, the local chapter’s most popular annual event. Uniting hundreds of members, suppliers and partners for an evening full of strikes, smiles and support for GMC-PCMA, it included an hour of bowling, a lively silent auction and a popular wine pull. Another exceptional event for industry networking in the Chicagoland market.
National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals (NCBMP) Annual Meeting (Nov. 19-22, Portland, OR)

Delegates from 81 countries worldwide came together to share knowledge, collaborate and network, all with the central theme of Charting the Course. During the congress, DDC maintained an important presence, contributing to the discussions through presentations and panel participation. Incentives, Business Travel & Meeting (IBTM) World (Nov. 18-20, Barcelona, Spain)

Meaningful exchanges, packed destination presentations and more than 150 one-on-one client interactions helped amplify Washington, DC’s presence on the global stage at the IBTM World tradeshow.
