DDC had a client activation highlighting health and wellness benefits for meetings and events.  The team also celebrated Jenna Wiese as one of PCMA’s 30 under 30 and met with media and clients. DDC targeted the following customers:

The event brought together religious meeting planners and suppliers from around the country. DDC staff connected with several meeting planners on the tradeshow floor and entertained clients at dinner. DDC targeted the following customers:

Event Services Professionals Association (ESPA) Annual Meeting (Jan. 19-21, Indianapolis, IN)
Attendees: Dianna Waldroup, Elizabeth Sheridan & Chris Li
ESPA is the only association dedicated to advancing the professional development of event service managers, thereby building the bottom lines of the hotels, facilities and CVBs they work for. The annual meeting is geared to help services professionals achieve success, find solutions and connect with services professionals worldwide.  

Travel and Tourism Research Association Marketing Outlook Forum (Jan. 29-31, Houston, TX)
Attendee: Quincy Li
Marketers and researchers converged on common ground, fostering dynamic discussions, shared learning and the evolution of strategic thinking. DDC staff had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and ideas with industry peers and experts. The conference covered the latest travel and tourism trends, strategic marketing decisions and innovations in the travel industry.

In addition to the signature member event, the global sales team engaged in a week of programming and led two inaugural events: the Ambassador Circle Recognition Luncheon and a Destination Marketing Collaboratory with economic development organizations. DDC’s new in-market representation firm for the United Kingdom business events segment was also in town to conduct site visits and familiarization tours:

Washington International Association (WIAF) Forum (Jan. 31 - Feb. 1, Washington, DC)
