STR Hotel Data Conference (Aug. 13-16, Nashville, TN)

Uniting leaders in hotel revenue management, the event is an educational opportunity with the goal of optimizing properties’ revenue, finding proactive solutions to sudden and drastic changes in the market and maximizing ROI on distribution channels. DDC will personally engage with several revenue management leaders from large hotel management companies like Interstate, Davidson and Crescent.

Connect’s hosted-buyer format facilitates exposure with active planners across six different meetings and events industry markets: Corporate, Association, Specialty, Expo, Tour and Sports. DDC will hold more than 100 appointments over the three days, as well as hosting an exclusive evening reception to highlight #DCCoolMeetings to clients.
IEEE Convene (Aug. 1-2, Washington, DC)

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Convene meeting is the annual event for leading scholarly conference organizers around the world, attracting attendees from more than 40 countries. During the two-day meeting, planners and organizers connected with CVBs and hotel suppliers while also engaging in educational sessions. Elliott welcomed the group as the featured keynote speaker during the opening session. DDC was also onsite to staff a booth on the show floor and co-hosted several special events throughout the show.
FICP Canadian Seminar and Canadian Meetings + Events Expo (Aug. 12-14, Toronto, ON, Canada)

Co-Ops: District Experience
Canada remains one of Washington, DC’s key markets for corporate and incentive groups. The event is the largest and longest-running trade show and conference for meeting and event professionals in Canada, allowing DDC is to pursue top customers in attendance.

Annual Meeting of American Political Science Association (Aug. 29-Sept. 1)
Washington Marriott Wardman Park: Expecting 7,000 attendees with 3,500 rooms on peak.
