Professional Convention Management Association: Capital Chapter – 2020 Mix-N-Bowl (Jan. 30, Washington, DC)

Mix-N-Bowl is an annual event that offers bowling, bocce and great networking opportunities with clients. DDC's East Coast account team cultivated relationships with new and existing clients through friendly competition against other supplier teams.
Religious Conference Management Association (RCMA) (Feb. 3-7, Irving, TX)

Co-Ops: Washington Hilton, The Hotel at The University of Maryland, Washington Marriott Wardman Park
RCMA is the only faith-based, nonprofit, international association composed exclusively of religious meeting professionals. RCMA members represent over 800 diverse religious organizations, and are responsible for planning 14,000 conventions, meetings, assemblies and retreats. DDC targeted the following customers: Association of Youth Ministry Educators, Church of Christ Holiness, Mennonite Church USA, Community Bible Study and Arrowhead Conference & Events.
Convention Sales Professionals International (CSPI) 29th Annual Conference and Business Meeting (Feb. 4, Washington, DC)

CSPI is the only professional association dedicated to fostering collaborative success between convention sales professionals and their counterparts at convention centers, convention hotels and regional destination marketing organizations. This year, opening keynote speaker Shawna Suckow discussed how the buying behaviors of consumers is constantly changing. Also, case studies and roundtable talks, specifically dealing with the destinations and conventions centers, were hosted throughout the show.
Destination Showcase (Feb. 5, Washington, DC)

Destinations International’s Destination Showcase is an annual one-day trade show that combines community/business leaders with representatives from CVBs across the country. The team connected with key decision makers in the events industry and showcased why they should host their meetings in DC. DDC’s Robin McClain welcomed attendees.
Global Pharmaceutical Medical Meetings Summit (Feb. 10-12, Boston, MA)

Each year, this event convenes senior meeting management professionals from the life sciences, medical and healthcare industries for empowering ROI-driven conversations, peer-to-peer knowledge exchange, shared best practices and networking. The Summit remains committed to a 1:1 ratio of meeting management professionals to solution providers.
Mid-Atlantic Conference and Expo (MACE) 2020 (Feb. 22, Washington, DC)

MACE 2020 will provide hundreds of meeting professionals from the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond an unrivaled opportunity to learn from industry leaders, advance their careers and impact their organizations. Education sessions will range from keynote presentations to full and mini-concurrent sessions.

DDC will host a client appreciation reception for customers based in the greater DMV area at the newest Convene location on 14th Street. Guests will have the opportunity to unwind with their DC partners during an evening filled with relaxation.
