IMEX America (Oct. 10-12, Las Vegas, NV)

IMEX America stages the largest trade show in the U.S., uniting the global market with more than 2,900 buyers from international and domestic markets. DDC will have individual and group appointments with over 200 hosted buyers, attend educational sessions and networking events.
AICPA Visit and Ellie Helton Memorial 5K (Oct. 13-14, Raleigh, NC)

Alex will visit the AICPA meetings and conference team and participate in the 3rd Annual Ellie Helton Memorial 5K and Fun Run. This run is held in memory of the daughter of the Senior Director - Meetings, Conferences & OLE at AICPA. The event supports research to provide education on brain aneurysm awareness. AICPA plans 54 conferences per year and 150-200 small meetings per year.
Travel & Tourism Research Association / Marketing Outlook Forum (Oct. 23-25, Baltimore, MD)

Marketing Outlook Forum is an annual conference presented by the Travel & Tourism Research Association that highlights trends, insights and resources for the travel and meetings industry. As the industry’s leading strategic travel forecast conference, the team will network and gain information for informed strategic marketing and sales decisions.
China Sales Mission + Client Advisory Retreat (Oct. 28-Nov. 3, Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing and Sanya, China)

Melissa will conduct sales calls in Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing to showcase Washington, DC for outbound meetings and incentive programs from China. The purpose is to market the destination and strengthen relationships with top corporate accounts such as Pro-Health, China Life and Joymain and agencies including CITS, CYTS and CTS. The sales mission will lead into an exclusive Client Advisory Retreat hosted in partnership with DDC’s international tourism team in Sanya. The inaugural program will bring key customers and tourism industry leaders from China and the U.S. together to exchange best practices and discuss topics such as market trends, air service and travel and visa policies/concerns.
