During the conference, DDC staff conducted 25 one-on-one appointments with planners over the course of two days. In addition to these meetings, staff attended two networking receptions, one held at the hotel and another aboard a boat cruise. The team also participated in a group dinner at a spa and resort outside of Burlington, where they spent the evening building relationships and engaging with planners in a more personal environment.

From connecting with planners during off-site programming at Churchill Downs to engaging with industry trends like PCMA’s AI announcements including DestinAItor and Spark 2.0, DDC’s efforts highlighted the city’s accessibility, creativity and global appeal.

WorldPride DC Sales Client Event (June 7-8, Washington, DC)

DDC collaborated with Capital Pride Alliance to create an event that welcomed all. We invited customers, partners and supporters to Franklin Park to celebrate and watch the WorldPride parade that included nearly 300 groups of floats, vehicles and walkers. Everyone enjoyed the face painting, photo booths, musical performances and more at this family-friendly event.

Meeting Professionals International New Jersey Golf Outing (June 10, Hamburg, NJ)

This signature golf event returned for its 27th year, and the first at a new location and new course: Stanton Ridge Golf and Country Club. For the past 26 years, our MPI New Jersey Chapter Golf Event has been a premier networking event that brings together members of the hospitality community and takes business out of the office and onto the golf course. DDC sponsors a hole on the course.
