Capital Showcase - Virginia vs Arkansas

The Capital Showcase brings the Virginia Cavaliers and Arkansas Razorbacks together for a rare nonconference matchup between two storied men’s basketball programs. It will be the teams’ eighth meeting, with Virginia holding a 4–3 edge; their last game came in 1998, when Arkansas won 85–83. The programs have also met twice in the NCAA Tournament, splitting those games 1–1. Arkansas will make its first-ever trip to Washington, D.C., for the contest, adding a fresh chapter to a series that has not been played in nearly three decades.
