Giles Corey
Nov 12, 2026. Starting: 8:00 PM
Giles Corey is the solo project of Dan Barrett, also known for his work with experimental rock duo Have a Nice Life. Blending intimate acoustic songwriting with shadowy, atmospheric textures, the project explores grief, history, death and the paranormal. Its self-titled 2011 debut brings that stark vision into focus on songs including “Blackest Bile,” “Spectral Bride” and “No One Is Ever Going to Want Me.” The music draws listeners into a hushed, unsettling world where the spare folk arrangements and haunting themes leave room for every detail to linger.
