Sadurn

Sadurn’s songs draw close with unguarded lyrics, graceful harmonies and a gently shifting blend of indie rock, folk and alt-country. The Philadelphia band began as songwriter Genevieve DeGroot’s solo project before growing into a quartet, whose spare arrangements leave room for each detail to land. Their acclaimed debut, Radiator, introduced listeners to that intimate, diary-like songwriting; the 2026 follow-up, The Underworld, expands the palette with tracks including “never tell me,” “mess” and “only angels.” Sadurn’s appeal lies in the balance between delicate, close-up moments and fuller band arrangements, giving its reflective songs room to gather feeling without losing their tenderness.
