SCC: And All That Jazz

In this concert, Strathmore Children’s Chorus explores the music of the Great American Songbook and celebrates the 125th anniversary of DC-native Duke Ellington's birth. In keeping with our focus on global repertoire, jazz from Europe, South America, and Africa are also represented. Highlights include timeless hits from storied composers including Ellington, Edith Piaf, Miriam Makeba, Louis Armstrong, Sergio Mendez, and many more. The concert will also feature our graduating seniors in their final concert with SCC.
