Sweeping Promises
Nov 13, 2026. Starting: 7:00 PM
Sweeping Promises channel art-punk urgency into sharply melodic songs, pairing guitarist Caufield Schnug’s driving sound with bassist and vocalist Lira Mondal’s fierce, shape-shifting delivery. The Kansas-based duo first broke through with the raw, one-microphone recording of Hunger for a Way Out, then expanded their home-recorded approach on Good Living Is Coming for You. Their 2026 album, You Say I Romanticize, pushes that restless energy further on tracks including “Shooting Shadows” and “Cocoon.” Expect punk’s propulsive edge alongside vivid hooks and vocals that can shift from a growl to a full-throated roar.
