Trey Anastasio Band

Led by guitarist, composer and Phish co-founder Trey Anastasio, Trey Anastasio Band—often called TAB—has been exploring his musical ideas onstage and in the studio since 1998. The group’s sound pairs Anastasio’s guitar-led rock with a flexible ensemble that has included a full horn section, giving the arrangements room to move from tightly shaped songs into expansive, groove-centered passages. Its albums include Paper Wheels and TAB at the Tab, while Anastasio’s broader work spans the orchestral composition Petrichor and the Broadway musical "Hands on a Hardbody". That blend of rock drive, rich ensemble color and improvisational possibility is central to TAB’s appeal.
