Wreath Workshop: Historic Greenery

December 14, 2019 - December 15, 2019
Times vary.

Make your own wreath for the holidays! The garden at Tudor Place is more than 200 years old, and beautiful trees have been added through the centuries. Design your own festive mix of greens fresh-cut from the heirloom plants like holly, pine, cedar, magnolia, and cypress to craft a beautiful, historic decoration. No experience required! Workshop registration includes instruction and all materials needed for one wreath per participant.

Mixed greenery wreaths from Tudor Place materials are a beautiful, classic and sustainable alternative to boxwood wreaths, and help us ensure the strength of our boxwood population. Boxwood around the globe are suffering from two diseases that irreparably harm them. To conserve our centuries-old boxwood for all visitors, we will not trim Tudor Place boxwood for wreaths this holiday season, or bring other potentially diseased boxwood material onsite.
