Explore Federal, Local and Utility EV Charging Incentives for Businesses
DOEE has created a single place where residents and businesses can find information on available resources, incentives and programs for electric vehicles and EV charging. The site also includes the District EV Dashboard, an interactive tool designed to track the District’s progress toward transportation electrification goals by providing data on EV registrations and public charging infrastructure. The dashboard allows users to locate public EV chargers, filter data by charger type and view EV registrations by ward.
Celebrating the 2026 Helen Hayes Awards
The 2026 Helen Hayes Awards celebrated the depth and ambition of Washington’s theater community, honoring work from 149 eligible productions and recognizing standout achievements across 41 categories at TheatreWashington’s annual ceremony. Some of the night's biggest winners included:
- Arena Stage – 9 awards (Damn Yankees (8), Fremont Ave. (1))
- Signature Theatre – 4 awards
- Theater Alliance – 3 awards
- Shakespeare Theatre Company – 2 awards
- The Keegan Theatre – 1 award

The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW), in partnership with Mayor Muriel Bowser’s office, will lead EAT250: America at the Table, a citywide celebration of food, culture and community. Taking place June 14-28, as DC commemorates America’s 250th anniversary, the initiative will bring together chefs, restaurants, museums, embassies and neighborhoods across the nation’s capital to showcase how migration, cultural exchange and diverse culinary traditions have shaped the American dining experience.
ParkScore® 2026 Rankings: Trust for Public Land Names Washington, DC Best Big City Park System
Washington, DC was named the nation’s best big city park system for the sixth consecutive year in Trust for Public Land’s 2026 ParkScore rankings, earning top marks for park access and equity. City parks are a key economic asset, delivering $3 in benefits for every $1 invested. With 693 parks and greenspaces and $449 per capita park spending, DC continues to stand out as a destination that centers equity in its access to outdoor recreation.
Cvent Announces Top Meeting Destinations and Top Meeting Hotels Worldwide for 2026
Cvent’s 2026 Top Meeting Destinations and Hotels rankings highlighted continued growth in the global meetings industry, with more than $20 billion in sourcing activity in 2025 and strong demand for in-person events. Washington, DC ranked #10 among North America’s Top Meeting Destinations, while Pinstripes - Georgetown earned the #2 spot and International Spy Museum ranked #10 on Cvent’s Top Meeting Venues list for North America.
